If you don't have a car, or prefer to travel by bicycle let us know and we can arrange transfer from any of the Island's ferries. We can organise bicycle hire (more details here) - the main cycle route from Cowes to Sandown is just 5 minutes cycle ride away. Island car hire is available from Esplanade - more details here
Welsomer chickens and rare breed pigs…
3 Welsomer chickens live in the Cowshed's garden. Guests of the Cowshed are free to feed them and collect the eggs. We have a small herd of Berkshire pedigree pigs. Feeding times are 7.30am and 4.30pm.

Our location is perfect for exploring the Isle of Wight with Ventnor, Yarmouth, Cowes and Bembridge all just 20 minutes drive away. There's always lots to see and do on the Isle of Wight, click here for some of our favourites. Both the Isle of Wight festival and Bestival are held close by and no more than a 20 minute cycle away if you fancy staying somewhere a little classier than a muddy campsite. |
